Travelling Installer

A Milwaukee-based company is seeking traveling installers to join their team. As an installer, you will be responsible for executing various operations related to the installation of fixtures and solid surfaces at project sites. The role requires both physical labor and technical skills to ensure high-quality workmanship and meet client expectations.

Location : Milwaukee, WI

Pay Rate : $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure work area is suitable for installation by identifying potential defects before starting work
  • Execute operations including unloading, unpacking, assembly, placement, anchoring, and finishing
  • Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and drawings to install fixtures and solid surfaces
  • Learn and apply proper fixture installation techniques
  • Follow the direction of the Lead Installer
  • Use power and hand tools safely and effectively
  • Measure dimensions and angles with precision
  • Adhere to tight deadlines while maintaining quality workmanship
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
  • Travel for work, typically 3- to 14-day trips, with a highly variable work schedule
  • Qualifications :
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License (CDL-B license a plus)
  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Basic arithmetic and reading skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality
  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift (up to 50 lbs.) for extended periods
  • Must be willing and able to travel 70% or more within the U.S.
