What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Manager (Corporate) position at SourcePro Search, LLC?
We are actively seeking a Business Development Manager for our AM Law 100 client law firm.
The ideal candidate will execute marketing and business development programs and initiatives for the firm's transactional practices. The Manager will work as part of the firm's larger Client Development department, and will support the attorneys in their office / practice groups as needed.
What You'll Do :
- Develop a thorough understanding of the Firm's Corporate platform, including its client-base, attorney-base and skillset.
- Work closely with the Associate Director on strategic initiatives to help increase visibility of practices and drive client development, identifying market and client opportunities where we have competitive advantage.
- Develop and manage cross-selling initiatives, including through internal communications that promote recent successes and other relevant developments.
- In coordination with the senior team and practice leadership, create, execute and maintain annual budgets.
- Partner with Events team to plan and manage practice events such as seminars, conferences, client events and webinars, and follow-up activities; regularly liaise with attorneys and firm-wide business development colleagues to successfully complete events.
- Serve as the Business Development lead in new business presentations, proposals and RFP responses; collaborate with business development colleagues to create materials that differentiate the firm in a way that generates new business, and track / measure all relevant activity.
- Conduct and analyze client, prospect, industry and market research and propose outreach strategies.
- Partner with the PR team to refine and progress the industry groups' visibility objectives and provide guidance and ideas on key hot topics and industry trends.
- Identify speaking, writing, sponsorship and other thought leadership opportunities to highlight the firm's expertise and innovative culture.
- Develop submissions for directories and awards, and seek and assess additional opportunities for recognition as related to the practice.
- Liaise with other members of the Client Development team to ensure website content reflects current practice highlights and trends.
