We have a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Talent Acquisition Manager with our top ranked global law firm client. This role will be based in their Los Angeles office.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the lateral partner recruiting efforts, primarily for the California offices, consistent with our growth strategy. This position will develop relationships with search firms, counterparts in other firms and others, frequently communicating hiring priorities to identify desirable candidates, and obtaining competitive intelligence. This position will collaborate both internally and externally to develop successful tactics for making the initial contact with potential candidates and determining the appropriate approach for successful recruitment and will collaborate closely with office leadership to ensure that the growth strategy is effectively implemented and remains in alignment with the Department objectives.
What You'll Do :
- Collaborate with Firm management in defining and executing Partner recruiting strategies;
- Develop and manage relationships with preferred search firms to promote the Firm and lateral opportunities; prepare search firm agreements;
- Draft initial candidate proposal documentation and Partner offer letters; work with practice groups to develop lateral recruitment collateral;
- Conduct research and analysis, and convey relevant findings on market trends, recruiting opportunities and Firm recruiting performance as it relates to Partner level hiring;
- Serve as primary point of contact for Partner candidates and search firms throughout the hiring process; work with local recruiting contacts to ensure background checks are performed; ensure successful pre-arrival orientation items are coordinated;
- Coordinate and manage in-office interview schedules for Partner candidates and internal interviewers; distribute recruiting materials to prospective lateral candidates and develop and send candidate briefing materials to interviewers.
- Develop relationships with internal colleague, including the Chief Diversity Officer, as well as with colleagues at peer firms in order to keep abreast of trends and other market intelligence.
