About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with extensive experience in technical support and equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in PLC troubleshooting, HVAC systems, fabrication, and TIG/MIG welding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and maintain performance rates to meet established specifications and highest standards by ensuring optimal machinery conditions.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance following standards and schedules, including lubrication, adjustments, and cleaning.
- Safeguard employees and facilities by implementing safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Monitor compliance and report to supervisor as necessary, minimizing downtime through effective maintenance strategies.
- Maintain and repair machinery to ensure safe operation.
- Adhere to food safety and quality policies, reporting any issues or concerns to management and/or quality teams.
- Provide training to new team members on proper equipment use, maintenance, and repair.
- Contribute to updating PM and cleaning master plans, ensuring efficient operations.
- Support department management in maintaining inventory levels, guaranteeing all necessary parts are available.
- Collaborate with Operations and Engineering on planning for and installation of new equipment and large repair projects.
