Job Title: Data Conversion Lead
Location: Hybrid - Miami, FL
Duration: 6 months
Pay: $65-$75/hr
This is on ONSITE position in Miami, FL. While the position can be done mostly remotely, we need someone who can easily commute to the Miami, FL area and be ONSITE as needed.
Job Summary:
As a Data Conversion Lead, you will oversee and manage the successful conversion of data from legacy systems to modern databases. You will lead a team of data professionals in executing data migration, cleansing, mapping, and transformation activities, ensuring high-quality and accurate data conversion in alignment with project timelines and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Data Conversion Projects: Oversee end-to-end data migration and conversion projects, including planning, data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading.
- End-to-end hands on experience with large scale data migrations/ETL processes from legacy to modern systems, including design, data mapping, development, validation, and implementation.
- Strong technical background of database management, development, and migration including SQL server, SSIS, SQL, Stored Procedures.
- Mainframe applications development and support, including Integrated Database Management System (IDMS) databases, and COBOL including batch and online development.
- COBOL, IDMS, and extensive database experience required
