Position: High School/Middle School Business Teacher
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education or a related field.
- Indiana Educator’s License in Business (7-12) or the ability to obtain by August 11, 2025.
- Passionate about education and the value of business concepts for young adults.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Experience teaching/student teaching at the high school level preferred.
Duties
- Plan, instruct, and assess curriculum for assigned course subjects that are aligned to course standards and objectives. Courses may include Principles of Business Management, Marketing, and Middle School Business.
- Develop student understanding of essential course content and standards.
- Differentiate lessons and class activities for students of all ability levels and needs.
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills and work collaboratively with school staff and students.
- Adhere to all corporation policies for staff including attendance, professionalism, and fulfillment of assigned responsibilities.
- Ensure approved accommodations are provided to eligible students.
- Communicate with students and parents regarding progress and grades.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
