Job Summary:
The Concurrent Enrollment Advisor position is a full-time, 12-month position that is responsible for coordinating, developing, and maintaining concurrent credit and dual credit courses. The position works closely with leadership at partner high schools to build concurrent pathways for high school students and facilitates the institutional processes related to enrollment and graduation. The position ensures that all federal, state, and institutional guidelines related to the enrollment of concurrent students are followed. The position is governed by state and federal regulations, as well as institutional policies.
Salary: Annual salary of $37,000. Plus, excellent benefit package.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Duties and Responsibilities:
· build relationships with high school partners to best assess the needs of students/districts
· coordinate with college deans, program directors, and registrar to offer courses that respond to those needs
· implement recruitment strategies to grow concurrent enrollment
· facilitate registration, advising, and graduation processes for concurrent students
· develop and maintain a degree plan (GPS) for all concurrent students
· complete graduation checklists and degree audits
· oversee orientation of concurrent students
· facilitate formal agreements with high school partners
· work cooperatively with the registrar, admissions, and Secondary Technical Center staff
· assist advising staff during peak registration periods
· perform other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in education or closely related field with strong computer skills.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master’s degree in a field related to education, higher education, student affairs, or counseling. Experience in an education setting is preferred, particularly in advising, concurrent enrollment, or a related student affairs setting.
Physical Requirements:
· occasional travel to area high schools
· occasional evening events/meetings will be required
