Customer Service and Sales Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic team member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will play a key role in driving sales and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. Predominately, your role will require you to work in the retail portion of the store and assisting in the self service dog wash area of the store when directed and needed.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
• Provide knowledgeable product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding.
• Process transactions accurately using the cash register and handle cash with care.
• Maintain stock levels by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays.
• Assist in inventory management, including stock counts and product organization.
• Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries and resolve issues.
• Uphold store cleanliness and organization standards to create an inviting shopping environment.
• Utilize phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management.
• Experience in retail sales is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
• Good phone etiquette for professional communication over the phone.
• Learn to book grooming appointments

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 28 per week
