Role and Responsibilities:
The role of the Production Manager is to ensure that the assembly production process runs reliably and efficiently. The Production Manager is responsible for coordinating all production activities and leading the entire production team. The Production Manager must make sure goods and services are produced safely, cost-effectively, and on time and that they meet the required quality standards. The Production Manager will communicate directly with the Manager of Production Coordination and the Director of Warehousing and Production regarding the status and condition of the production standards. The Production Manager monitors any issues in the department and ensures production targets are met. The Production Manager adheres to and follows the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure quality production, meeting the minimum required Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a regular basis.
Specific duties include:
· Coordinate planning and communicating production schedules with Production Team.
· Coordinate and order the resources that are required to ensure stock levels remain adequate.
· Select equipment and take responsibility for its maintenance.
· Set quality standards for the Production Team.
· Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
· Monitor productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control programs.
· Organize the repair of any damaged equipment.
· Work with different departments, teams, and companies (e.g. suppliers, managers, clients).
· Ensure that health and safety guidelines are being followed.
· Ensure orders are completed on time and to budget and quality standards.
· Work with management to implement the company’s policies and goals.
· Collect and analyze data, putting together production reports for management team.
· Supervise and motivate the Production Team.
· Review work performance and identify training needs.
· Being familiar with product styles and SKUs and having full knowledge of product specifications.
· Assessing risks and resolving production problems.
· Ensures QMS process applicable to production assembly.
· Enforces QMS and KPI requirements while communicating them to Production Team.
· Manage assembly staff daily and weekly positions.
· Train employees on Assembly work instructions.
Qualifications:

- 5 plus years’ experience in management (or related position).

· Able to multi-task in a fast-paced production environment
· Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted, 51lbs – 175 lbs. team lifting.
· Able to work on foot for extended periods of time.
· Ability to develop strong relationships and experience working with peers and management.
· Understanding of basic math skills.
High school diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
