About South Bay Solutions:
We are an ISO 9001 and 13485 certified precision manufacturing company in the Silicon Valley providing support to Medical, Semiconductor, Automotive, Oil & Gas and Military Defense industries.
We are looking for a Janitor, or custodian, to take care of our building and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties.
The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, office cleaning etc.)
- Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, including outdoor break areas
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Performs other job-related duties, special projects as assigned or required.
Skills/Experience:
- 2 years janitorial experience
- Capacity to take direction
- Strong attention to detail
- Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary
- Ability to work well under minimal supervision
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity and ability to work independently
Work Schedule:
- Mon-Fri 2:00pm - 8:35pm
Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Salary : $20 - $22
