What are the responsibilities and job description for the Game Master position at South Beach Room Escape?
Our team here at South Beach Room Escape is in search of our next Game Master!
The Game Master’s responsibilities include:
- Welcoming guests by explaining rules/guidelines of the game and setting the scene for their adventure
- Monitoring guests remotely, assisting them as needed with clues and hints
- Debriefing guests
- Taking pictures of guest groups
- Guest services, including booking reservations and processing payment
- Serving refreshments (including alcohol)
- Answering the phone
- Sanitizing and resetting the rooms between groups
- Fix props, do repairs in the room
- Pay is between $13-17/hour
We are looking for applicants with key qualifications:

- Handy to fix repairs for game props
- Comfortable with using tools for repairs and projects
Additional requirements include:
- Flexible scheduling ability (as this is a part-time position, Game Master’s will be needed on weekdays and weekends)

- Love puzzles, riddles, and/or escape rooms
- Problem solving skills
- Effective communication skills (can articulate yourself well)
- Basic technology skills (computer skills, emailing, etc.)

- Fluent in English (bilingual a plus)
