Title I Administrative Assistant

POSITION TITLE:                              Title I Administrative Assistant

STARTING PAY:                                 $40,000 - $45,000

CONTRACT LENGTH:                           12 months

POSITION SUMMARY:    

Assist and serve the Director of Title I.

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:        Director of Government Funded Program

DUTIES:               

The Title I administrative assistant will serve the Title I Program by working under the direction of the Director of Government Funded Program.  Scheduling and acting as a recorder at meetings, maintaining an efficient flow of reports and records, researching statistical data pertinent to the program's objectives, and preparing correspondence are among the duties the administrative assistant will be expected to perform.  The Director will assign other tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:       

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  An associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is preferred.
