Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facility, particularly in food production and processing areas. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of all areas within the facility, including production lines, storage areas, and restrooms.
• Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify areas needing attention and report any maintenance issues.
• Assist in the fabrication of cleaning schedules and protocols tailored to specific areas of the facility.
• Support warehouse operations by maintaining cleanliness in storage areas and ensuring proper waste disposal.
• Engage in heavy lifting as required to move equipment or materials during the cleaning process.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across all departments.

Skills

• Experience in commercial cleaning, food processing, or industrial cleaning preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices related to food production is a plus.
• Ability to perform custodial duties with attention to detail.
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.48 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
