Assist Healthcare Director ofNursing in clinical and management duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to thefollowing :
Help oversee maintenance of residentclinical records, statistics, reports, and records for purposes ofevaluation and reporting of organizational activities as requiredby the organization
Ensure delivery ofcompassionate, quality care and clinical supervision to meetcommunity, regulatory and budgetary standards
Ensure compliance with all regulations from DHEC, Fire and Safety,OSHA,Labor Laws and adhere to HIPAA standards and Resident's Rights
Assist in preparation of regulatoryinspections and surveys
Act as liaison betweenresidents, physicians, families and appropriate health careresources
In absence of Dir. of Nursing, vestedwith authority to act on behalf of the Director ofNursing
Requirements
RN or Bachelors of Sciencedegree in Nursing
Current SC RNlicense
Familiar with management principles andpractices
Demonstrated ability to supervise anddirect professional clinical personnel
Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid and other regulationsand legal policies including resident rights
Understanding of physical and psychological effects of theaging process
Excellent observation,,communication skills including problem resolution
