About Pee Dee Regional Center
Pee Dee Regional Center is a residential facility of the South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs located in Florence, SC serving residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all building floor maintenance Pee Dee Campus and Saleeby Center if needed.
- Keep all floor equipment in it proper location, locked up when not in use, and in good working condition.
- Must know how to properly strip floors before applying wax to the floors. Must set up a schedule to keep all floors properly buffed to keep floors looking good at all times.
- Other duties as needed.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
Experience in custodial, housekeeping or pest control work that is directly related to the area of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of how to properly carry out custodial, housekeeping or pest control tasks. Knowledge of custodial, housekeeping or pest control standards and requirements. Knowledge of safety practices relevant to the area of employment. Knowledge of personnel practices in state government. Skill in the use of cleaning tools and equipment. Ability to keep accurate written records. Ability to plan, direct and review the work of subordinates. Ability to train new employees in the proper performance of their duties.
