About Our Agency
The South Carolina Department Of Disabilities And Special Needs (DDSN) Is The State Agency That Plans, Develops, Coordinates, And Funds Services For South Carolinians With The Severe, Lifelong Disabilities Of:
Maintains the Residential Service Request Log.
Tracks response times for residential service requests to ensure decisions are made promptly and within required time frames.
Provides administrative support to the Residential Needs Team.
Delivers written communication of decisions within two business days of determinations.
Generates and oversees report database in Access for all components of residential needs tracking for the agency.
Maintains and uploads residential needs list and vacancy report to the DDSN application portal on a weekly basis.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Director. Meets division expectations as outlined.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
State Minimum Requirements: This position requires a high school diploma and relevant program experience.
Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Preferred Qualifications
This position requires the ability to track, manipulate and analyze data using Excel, Access and other programs. A general knowledge of DDSN programs and excellent organization skills are required. Must have good time-management skills and be able to understand and meet the time frames for the Residential Needs process.
