This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, Coastal Empire Community Mental Health Center, 1050 Ribaut Rd. , Beaufort, SC 29902.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
DMH: Master's Degree in a social science and 4 years of social service program experience; 1 year of which must have been in a community mental health program.
Preferred Qualifications
Applicants with an LPC or LPC-S Licensure is highly desirable.

This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, Coastal Empire Community Mental Health Center, 1050 Ribaut Rd. , Beaufort, SC 29902.
- Administrative Functions: Supervises the daily administrative and clinical operations including Adult and CAF services of the Beaufort Clinic. Assures available patient services are provided, managed, tracked, and billed appropriately. Identifies areas of process improvement, including specialized reports and patient access that result in the improvement of services. Directly supervises the Administrative Assistant- Supervisor. Directly supervises the Coordinator of Children, Adolescent and Family services in relation to oversight and delivery of Children, Adolescent , and Family services in the Beaufort Clinic. Coordinates with Access/MC Lead as it relates to oversight and delivery of access services in the clinic and MC services for the Beaufort Clinic during regular working hours. Coordinates with Medical Director and Nursing Supervisor as it relates to oversight, scheduling, and delivery of medical services in the Beaufort Clinic.
- Personnel: Recruits and supervises personnel in Clinical services and Administrative support services, either directly or indirectly for the Beaufort Clinic. Yearly evaluations and regular supervision are provided to all directly supervised clinical and administrative support staff. Clinical supervision is provided regularly to all directly supervised staff.
- Community Liaison: Communicates regularly with representatives of public and private mental health, medical, and social services organizations and agencies in the community to assure the delivery of quality services to mutual patients and to educate the community on our services. Participates in opportunities to meet with both professionals and members of the community in order to share pertinent information about Coastal Empire Community Mental Health Center and the services offered. Coordinates with other lead staff in the Beaufort Clinic to assure these functions are occurring and maintained.
- Assures Clinical Services are provided and billed appropriately and adhere to Quality Assurance standards.Provides dircect service as needed/appropriated to ensure patient care is delivered within needs/standards
- Continuity of Care: Ensures continuity of care within clinic programs, between community programs, and with hospitals as specified in the DMH Continuity of Care Manual.
- Corporate Compliance: Ensures the clinic as well as supervised staff are in conformance with SCDMH Corporate Compliance requirements and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
