This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, Central Office, 2414 Bull Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
As the program Manager I, you will manage the Statewide Navigate Program. You will awards /allocate program budgets along with monitoring utilization to ensure programs are addressing specific goals and outcomes. You will provide technical and professional services on state level community integration projects. You will maintain a data base that collects Navigate data and ensure program fidelity of state-wide Navigate programs. You will promote recovery, continuity of care, and cultural competency.
Responsibilities for this Program Manager I include but are not limited to:
State Minimum Requirement: A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.
Agency Requirement: A master's degree with four (4) years of administrative/management experience or five (5) years of clinical experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Skills or experience working or supervising Navigate programs.
Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.

Ability to work and provide guidance to employees. Ability to make presentations and prepare reports. Ability to gather, manage, and interpret data. Routine in-State travel. Limited overnight travel. Ability to visit Mental Health Centers across the State as necessary.

Responsibilities for this Program Manager I include but are not limited to:
- Coordination, consultation, and implementation of Navigate programs statewide. Monitors and reports on program fidelity and outcomes. Serves as a liaison regarding DMH and local Mental Health Centers.
- Facilitates any contractual and financial functions related to Navigate programs as directed by DMH State Office.
- Tracks and reports request for assistance and participates in interagency meetings that may arise. Maintains data request and monitors all data from Centers Navigate programs and or services.
- Conducts monthly meetings with designated program coordinators from community Navigate programs. Attends community partner meetings and other scheduled meetings in order to define and promote the benefits/outcomes of Navigate programs.
