- This position applies to all SCDMV Temporary Administrative Specialist II Positions Working 20 hours / 37.5 hours per week at our Headquarters Building located in Blythewood, South Carolina **
This position is located in the SCDMV Headquarters, Blythewood, S.C.
Responsibilities Of The Administrative Specialist II
- Create, maintain, and enter information into databases or software programs.
- Answer telephones to direct calls or provide information.
- Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions.
- Perform other general clerical and secretarial duties as requested, which may include recordkeeping, maintaining office supplies and coordinating equipment maintenance, and handling packages and correspondence.
- Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.
- Maintain files and filing systems in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Must complete a nationwide criminal background check.
- Must be able to attend required training.
- Demonstrated ability to retain DMV policies and procedures and apply them to your daily specified tasks.
- May be required to work extended hours outside of the normally scheduled work week.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be accepted with prior approval.
