We Are Looking For Teammates Who Are
- Knowledgeable in distributed systems architecture and multiple technical disciplines (Microsoft Cloud Applications, PowerBI Infrastructure, and third-party cloud application support).

As an IT Manager you will plan, coordinate, and direct a staff of IT professional through providing application support for in-house and third-party applications that support the SCDOR mission, while focusing on the security of taxpayer data, information and systems.
Primary Job Duties Include
- Supervising the activities of the SCDOR Cloud Solutions team.
- Establishing project priorities and time-frames.
- Ensuring that assignments are completed on time and meets stakeholder requirements.
- Leading the analysis and design of systems.
- Overseeing all areas involved with the implementation of major new or enhanced systems.
- Coordinating the design, development, maintenance, and implementation of new and existing cloud services as requested.
- Communicating with IT and business stakeholders.
- Providing 24x7 production support, as required.
- Maintaining a competent, empowered, and forward-thinking team.
- Administering personnel matters including, staff selection, training, career planning, time tracking, and the SCDOR employee performance program.
- Creating a dashboard for employees and the SCDOR Technology Serivces section.
- Coordinating the preparation and development of system and user documentation and procedures.
- Creating and reviewing statistical reports for trends and potential problems.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in communications, business administration, information technology, mathematics, statistics, management, information science or a related field and experience in telecommunications, data processing and/or information technology OR
- An associate's degree in communications, business administration, information technology, mathematics, statistics, management, information science, or a related field and 2 years of experience in telecommunications, data processing and/or information technology OR
- 4 years of experience in telecommunications, data processing and/or information technology
Additional Requirements
- Position requires employees to support systems operating 24x7.
- Employees will be required to work planned and emergency hours outside normal agency work schedules.

- Training: IT Manager's will participate in a training program to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to successfully perform their job.
- Hours: Flexible hours may be available from 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week).
- Telework schedule: This position may be eligible to work remotely up to two days per week.
