Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - East Cooper Coastal Mullis Physician PracticeLocation: Mount Pleasant, SC Sign-On Bonus: $1,000 Summary:Join our dynamic team at the East Cooper Coastal Mullis Physician Practice located in Mount Pleasant as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). In this pivotal role, you will provide direct nursing care in a fast-paced medical office environment, working closely with our physicians and healthcare providers. Your contributions will ensure patients’ comfort and safety while maintaining a clean and organized workspace, all in line with our high standards of care. Key Responsibilities: Patient Assessment: Assist in evaluating patient needs and contribute to individualized health plans. Documentation: Accurately complete all required documentation in the patient’s medical record, adhering to our practice’s charting policies. Clinical Support: Prepare medical equipment and assist physicians during exams, treatments, and procedures. Care Coordination: Schedule specialized consultations and coordinate appointments for diagnostic testing as directed by physicians. Patient Education: Provide patients with information regarding their care and assist in addressing their questions and concerns. Education & Experience: Required: High School Diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program. Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in a physician's office setting is required. Certifications: Required: Current Medical Assistant certification and CPR certification.
