Key Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Patient Care: Assist in evaluating and addressing patient needs, supporting personalized care plans that promote health and recovery.
Clinical Excellence: Prepare medical equipment and work hand-in-hand with physicians during exams, treatments, and procedures to ensure smooth operations and optimal patient care.
Patient Interaction & Education: Serve as a trusted guide for patients, providing education, answering questions, and ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, scheduling consultations and coordinating follow-up appointments to ensure seamless patient care.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring all charting adheres to best practices and Novant Health standards.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting Program.
At least 1 year of experience working in a physician’s office or healthcare setting.
Current CMA certification and CPR certification are required.
