Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA-Same Day Surgery PRN

Coastal Carolina Medical Center Hardeeville, South Carolina Surgery PRN 8:00 am-4:30 pm         Job Description   Job Summary   The Certified Nursing Assistant is trained to provide personal care and supportive services to the unit’s patient population.  They function under the direction and supervision of the RN.   Assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Assists with personal hygiene, takes vital signs, and changes bed linens. May serve and collect food trays, provide for between-meal nourishment, and clean, sterilize, store, and prepare other supplies. GED or High School Graduate required. 2. Completion of a State approved Nursing Assistant program with a South Carolina Nursing Assistant certificate required.     Experience:   Six months of previous nursing assistant experience preferred.   Other Qualifications: Current BLS certification.
