Apply today!  Responsibilities    • The Community Engagement Specialist is responsible for executing a comprehensive socially responsible operational implementation plan as designed by the community engagement team to enhance and strengthen Novant Health’s reputation for remarkable patient experience and its leadership in community outreach for the entire Novant Health footprint.    • The Community Engagement Specialist provides operational oversight, and support for Novant Health’s community engagement portfolio of local partnerships.    • The Community Engagement Specialist leads the community engagement partnership team’s implementation of community facing partnerships and programs that support the organization’s mission of improving the health of communities, one person at a time.    • The Community Engagement Specialist is responsible for leading and developing a market-specific community engagement plan that may include community partnerships, charitable investments, and programs that support community building activities, facility Community Benefit Implementation Plans (CBIP), and aligned team member engagement opportunities.    • The Community Engagement Specialist may have specific responsibility over community engagement’s market level operations, services, programs and/or partnerships. Qualifications    • 4 Year Bachelor’s degree preferred    • Minimum 2 years of professional work experience in corporate citizenship, philanthropy, nonprofit/public organizations, or hospital or community health settings preferred
