Emergency Department Technician

Coastal Carolina Medical Center Hardeeville, South Carolina Emergency Room (ED) Full-Time 7:00pm-7:00am ***$5,000 Sign-on Bonus***   Job Description   Job SummaryThe Emergency Department Technician works under the direct supervision of the RN and physician. They perform a variety of basic patient care activities in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. They are responsible for completing a variety of department specific tasks to assist with optimal department safety and functioning. High School or GED equivalent preferred2. EMT/CNA/Phlebotomy or related experience preferred.   Experience:1. Minimum of 6 months experience with EMS/ER Tech or related experience; OR2. Two (2) years of experience in CNA Level I, II or III role and documented competency in at least three (3) of the following roles: Unit Secretary, Monitor Technician, Spanish Language Interpreter or Phlebotomist.   Other Qualifications: Current BLS certification.
