What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Mechanic II position at South Carolina Region?
Responsibilities • Performs Preventive Maintenance and repairs on hospital building, grounds, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems. • This includes Generators, Electrical Switch Gear, Boilers, Chillers, Chiller Towers, Pumps, Motors, Refrigeration Equipment, Commercial Kitchen Equipment, Tube System, and Fire Pump. • Ensures that documentation of PM's and equipment checks are complete. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Takes call back as assigned.
QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus • Must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience. • Technical Training in computer controlled mechanical systems (Johnson Controls, Tube System) • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
