Apply today!    Position Summary Performs maintenance and repairs on hospital building, grounds, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems.  This includes Generators, Electrical Switch Gear, Boilers, Chillers, Chiller Towers, Pumps, Motors, Refrigeration Equipment, Commercial Kitchen Equipment, Tube System, and Fire Pump.  Must have the knowledge and ability to work on hot electrical components.  Installs new fixtures and equipment as required and assigned. Understand the Regulatory Requirements (Joint Commission, IBC, NFPA, CMS) and ensures that documentation of PM's and equipment checks are complete.  Takes a proactive approach when doing equipment checks.  This position will be required to take call as assigned.   Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  Associate Degree, Trade Certification and/or 5 years’ experience in Facility Maintenance with Plumbing, Mechanical and Electrical technical knowledge. Computer Proficiency  Technical Training in computer controlled mechanical systems (Johnson Controls) Must be able to read, write and speak English.
