Nurse Extern I Med Surg PRN Rotating Position Summary:Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our med-surg patients in our advanced facilities that include a primary stroke center and a long-term acute care unit. The Nurse Extern I role is designed to provide expanded clinical experience for Freshman-Junior professional (RN) nursing students and to assist the Registered Nursing staff by performing patient care activities, which includes participating in patient care planning, implementation, observation and evaluation, as well as reporting significant observations to a Registered Nurse and performing tech patient care duties.

THE NURSE EXTERN I MED SURG PRN ROTATING CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
Education
Required: Currently enrolled in an accredited RN program and upon completion of first clinical rotation and completion of Fundamentals of Nursing Course.
Certifications
Required: CPR
