Nurse Extern II Med Surg PRN Days Position Summary Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our med-surg patients in our advanced facilities that include a primary stroke center and a long-term acute care unit.
ResponsibilitiesThe Nurse Extern II role is designed to provide expanded clinical experience for senior professional (RN) nursing students that are graduating 6 months upon completion of degree and to assist the Registered Nursing staff by performing patient care activities, which includes participating in patient care planning, implementation, observation and evaluation, as well as reporting significant observations to a Registered Nurse.
THE NURSE EXTERN II MED SURG Days CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE. EducationRequired: Currently enrolled in an accredited RN program required.
