The hospital provides a continuum of services through its centers and programs, including a 24-hour emergency department, critical care, cardiac care ranging from minimally invasive to open heart surgery, obstetrics/ gynecology, urology, a nationally accredited breast health center, spine care, gastroenterology, surgical services, cardiac and physical rehabilitation.  OB Certified Surgical Tech PRN Days Position SummaryThe OB Tech is trained to provide technical and supportive care, through the performance of specific duties, as the surgical technologist during surgical and other invasive procedures under the direction of a registered nurse.  He/She functions under the direction and supervision of the Director. Directs communication with the nursing unit and performs routine scrub as well as specifically delegated duties according to hospital established policies and procedures. THE OB CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECH PRN DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.   Education: High school diploma required. Experience: Technical experience as scrub tech desired. Trainings/Certifications required:1. Current BLS certification required.2. National certification as Scrub Tech or documentation that that individual was working as a scrub tech in South Carolina prior to January 1st. 2008
