Position Summary
Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the healthcare needs of assigned patients
Delivering care to patients across the lifespan, from infants to geriatrics, unless otherwise specified
Collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to meet hospital and unit goals
Delivering care in accordance with established standards and departmental guidelines
Flexibility to float to other comparable nursing units as needed

Knowledge of general nursing theories and practices
Previous hospital experience preferred
Ability to step into the role of Charge Nurse as needed/requests
Education & Certifications
Current, unrestricted RN license in the State of South Carolina
Successful completion of the nursing service orientation program
Completion of IV Therapy training or demonstration of IV competency within one year
Annual participation in Skills Fair and completion of required competency checklists
Maintains department-specific competencies and/or certifications
BCLS and ACLS certifications required at hire
Advanced certification in specialty field and/or active membership in professional organizations encouraged
