The Senior Director of Clinical Affairs acts as a liaison between the medical staff, administration and hospital departments to coordinate this interrelationship in the pursuit of the highest appropriate levels of medical care. This person is held responsible for the effective discharge of medical staff organizational functions as set forth in the medical staff bylaws and policies developed by the Medical Staff Executive Committee and approved by the Board of Trustees regarding medical staff performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Medical Doctorate or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from a recognized college or university and completion of residency training in a clinical specialty, REQUIRED
Five years experience in a medical staff leadership position, required
Five years experience active medical practice, required
Board certification in clinical specialty, and eligible for membership on the applicable medical staff(s), required.
