Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Crisis and Emergency Services Counselor to join our team in Covington County. In this role, you will provide a variety of crisis services, in an outpatient psychiatric urgent care setting.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, community rehabilitation, or another behavioral health area.
- Must receive DMH Crisis Certification Training.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct services to clients, including group and individual counseling.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Answer our 24/7 crisis care helpline.
- Crisis intervention and resolution.
- Provide general information to individuals who call the helpline.
- Provide linkage and referral to other resources.
