What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN - Covington County Full Time position at SOUTH CENTRAL ALABAMA MENTAL HEALTH BOARD?
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate is required to provide services to consumers in crisis at our Urgent Care Clinic. Experience working in mental health preferred. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK NIGHTS, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS; and clear background check.
Qualifications:
- High school graduation or equivalent plus successful completion of an LPN program with current Certification by the Alabama Board of Nursing and relevant experience.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Provide education, training, testing, monitoring, evaluation and updating all MAC/MAS workers and nurses.
- Conducts nursing assessments and duties.
- Administer medications as directed by doctor’s orders.

- Work directly with consumers in our Urgent Care.
