JOB SUMMARY
The Housekeeper will ensure the provision of a clean and orderly environment providing high quality services and high standards of cleanliness, ensuring compliance with infection control procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education Must be able to read, write, and understand verbal and written communication. Prior experience in healthcare environmental cleaning preferred. High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Physical Requirements
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, perform overhead lifting and other common physical movements as needed for the position.
Ability to lift and carry in excess of 50 pounds.
Essential Functions/ Assigned Tasks
Follow standards and procedures for safe chemical preparation, use and storage
Carry out all cleaning duties as directed according to the department policies and procedures.
Ensure adherence to daily and deep cleaning schedules
Ensure that all cleaning equipment is correctly and safely used
Demonstrate proper care of equipment
Complete all scheduled tasks in a timely manner
Ensure appropriate use of personal protective equipment
Demonstrate actions that provide a positive experience for the resident as well as promoting positive teamwork with co-workers
Monitor EVS communications and logs to ensure timely completion of documented needs
Perform other job duties and tasks as assigned.
