Responsibilities:
In addition to supporting the medical staff providers, the hospital clinical informatics analyst will also support other staff members with software troubleshooting and issues. The hospital clinical informatics analyst will assist with clinical report building and scheduling as needed, housing and maintaining copies of electronic order sets approved and published by the hospital, and publish and maintain any custom patient education for use in the EMR. The hospital clinical informatics analyst is also responsible for publishing and distributing education related to software system changes to the education team. The hospital clinical informatics analyst will provide assistance, as needed, to the ambulatory clinical analyst(s) to accomplish best practices of EMR utilization and to optimize workflows.
