Job Title: Workforce Development Coordinator (Full-Time)
Location: Bedford, Coffee, Franklin, Giles, Grundy, Hickman, Lawrence, Lewis, Lincoln, Marshall, Maury, Moore, Perry,
Warren, Wayne, and Williamson Counties
Reports To: Program Director
Job Summary: Manage recruitment, participant engagement, and training schedules. Work with local educational institutions,
healthcare providers, and community organizations to assist with maintaining records and participant tracking.
1. Coordinate with local Adult Education Success Coaches to promote and recruit participants.
2. Help students enroll in Aztec Learning programs, including technical support if needed.
3. Attend state-sponsored training related to the grant.
4. Maintain student attendance and records of progress in accordance with TN Dept. of Labor requirements.
5. Responsible for tracking retention, follow-up and progress of students.
6. Uses a variety of instructional approaches including integrating technology in the classroom to accommodate different learning styles and levels of functioning.
7. Assists with recruitment, registration, orientation and assessment as needed.
Minimum Job Requirements:
· Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
· Experience working in an adult education environment preferred
· Working knowledge of various multi-media tools in the classroom.
· Must be able to communicate by email on a daily and/or weekly basis with Supervisor and staff.
- Effective planning, organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of and accommodations for the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds and special needs of adult learners.
- Reliable transportation is needed to travel to various counties in the Southern Middle TN region.
- Must be adaptable to working a flexible schedule to meet the demands of classes after normal work hours.
Working Conditions:
- Working hours will vary according to students’ schedules, and a hybrid work schedule is anticipated.
- Traveling between counties will be required sometimes, but virtual meetings will be used as much as possible.
Physical Abilities:
- Sitting or standing for prolonged period of time.
- Light to moderate lifting.
- Reaching, stooping, pulling, pushing, bending, walking, writing on board, and keyboarding.
- Speech, hearing and vision emphasized.
- Visual and hand usage of computer terminal.
- Transporting texts and materials to the classroom.

Pay: Up to $40,000.00 per year
