South Cherokee Veterinary Hospital is actively looking for a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with surgery, ultrasound, dental x-ray, digital radiology, rooming patients, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, have experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understand the importance of client education, and is a positive and supportive team player. Orthopedic experience would be a bonus. They will fill confident and compassionate about working with our doctors, practice manager, other team members and our clients. - Mainly Companion Animal Hospital
- Offer Boarding and Grooming
- Offer Radilogy and Ultrasound
- Soft Tissue and Orthopedic Surgery
- Performs Dentals and Dental Radiology
Requirements
- Veterinary Technician License must be current in Georgia
- 2 years of veterinary technician experience
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint (low stress)
- Team player willing to continue to learn
- Positive and motivating attitude
