- Intravet software knowledge preferred, not required
- Idexx in-house lab equipment knowledge
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint (low stress)
- Can lift 40 lbs, bend, and can stand for long periods of time
- Team player willing to continue to learn
- Positive and motivating attitude

South Cherokee Veterinary Hospital is a companion animal hospital looking for an experienced veterinary technician to join our amazing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with ultrasound, dental x-ray, digital radiology, rooming patients from start to finish, take history, collect samples, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork using Idexx lab equipment, ability to assist in surgery, have experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understands the importance of client education, and is a positive and supportive team player. Orthopedic experience would be a bonus. The knowledge of basic technician skills is a must. Our hospital strives to find a balance of work and life for our employees.
