Job Summary
The South Coast Air Quality Management District is looking for a talented Air Quality Monitoring Professional to join its team. As an Air Quality Monitoring Professional, you will be responsible for monitoring and investigating air quality issues in commercial and industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and investigations of commercial and industrial equipment, machines, control devices, materials, and processes to determine compliance with air quality regulations.
- Prepare various reports to record the findings of inspections and complaint investigation activities.
- Learns and applies a variety of inspection methods and techniques on petroleum and industrial equipment and processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, chemistry, mathematics, physics, or a related field.
- Completion of at least 34 semester units of core courses required for a major in one of the above fields.
- Possession of a valid California Class C Driver's License.
- Ability to analyze emission sources, identify potential compliance issues, and determine adherence to air quality regulations.
