Description : POSITION SUMMARY :

Clinicians will provide comprehensive mental health services and develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans. Services include, but are not limited to, assessment, psychotherapy, case management, psychoeducation, and crisis intervention. Clinicians may also be responsible for facilitating therapeutic groups or family sessions and may be asked to participate in an on-call rotation. Clinicians will also assist in coordinating and collaborating with outside agencies such as Probation Departments, Schools, Juvenile Dependency Court, and County Behavioral Health Services. This position is eligible for bonuses and merit increases throughout your accumulation of clinical hours, attainment of licensure, and experience in the position post-licensure.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION :
Family Wrap is a community-based program serving children & youth ages 0-21 who are unable to access their education due to the impact of their mental health needs. Family Wrap collaborates with school districts to ensure students have the skills and ability to meet their mental health needs, access their education and succeed in the least restrictive academic setting possible. With the goal of reducing barriers to care services are provided in clients’ homes, schools, local community and occasionally by telehealth.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Utilize a trauma-informed approach when working with children and their families.
- Provide individual and / or family therapy, formulate diagnoses and complete clinical assessments and treatment plans.
- Acquire and apply up-to date knowledge of evidenced based interventions and methodologies.
- Administer measures such as the GAD-7 and PHQ-9 and utilize results to inform treatment.
- Utilize Whole Person Care model when treatment planning to maximize client empowerment.
- Comply with all HIPAA and SCCS confidentiality standards.
- Adhere to all relevant standards and regulations for productivity, timeliness, and documentation.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with outside agencies to ensure clients’ treatment goals are met and in compliance with court-orders.
- Attend all required meetings, such as Children and Family Team meetings.
- Effectively collaborate with the program’s multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and cohesive care.
- Skillfully manage crisis situations and utilize de-escalation techniques as appropriate.
- Clinicians will have the opportunity to provide psychotherapy to commercially insured clients for an additional stipend through South Coast’s Hope Healing Connection Program.

Clinician Tier I : Masters Degree with less then 1500 hours

Clinician Tier II : Masters Degree with 1500 Hours completed
76,920 - $82,280
Clinician Tier III : Licensed
85,280 - $90,640
Clinician Tier IV : 2 years post License
90,640 - $96,000
Clinician Tier V : Senior Licensed
96,000 - $102,000
