Customer Service Dispatcher

We take pride in being San Diego's premier authorized Canon and H.P. dealer. We sell and support Canon software products and the full line of Canon color copiers, scanners, large format printers and faxes. We also service all H.P. laser printers.

South Coast Copy Systems is a locally-owned company, in business for 26 years, focused on capturing market share with an award winning product lineup that showcases world class technology, backed by an outstanding customer service team.

This is a full-time, long-term position (Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 4pm) in which the ideal candidate will realize increased opportunity and added responsibility as experience is gained. Training and hands-on experience will be provided, however, knowledge of dispatching, service technicians and basic networking skills are preferred.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Dispatch:
• Manage Dispatch Console.
• Make sure calls are in order of importance for technicians to go to
• Have a first call set up daily for each technician.
• Communicate throughout the day with technicians about incoming calls .
• Schedule and Coordinate shop meetings with technicians.
• Ensure that we are meeting are monthly quotas in Billable Service Calls and Parts.
• Respond to any and all website/service requests that come in via email.
• Monitor technicians via GPS.

Customer Service:
• Communicating with customers on the status of their service call.
• Sending Quotes for parts and service to billable customers.
• Answering incoming general service questions about equipment.

Help Desk:
• Walking customers through troubleshooting issues with the copier that can be fixed over the phone.
• Sending out information on how to fix certain problems that occur with the copier.
• Remote on to customer’s computer to help set up scan folders/print drivers as well as troubleshooting a particular problem related to the copier or printer.
