What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Nurse position at South Coast Educational Collaborative?
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fosters a safe and positive environment for all students and staff in accordance with SCEC policies
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, to children and adults;
In the absence of the School Nurse, the Substitute Nurse will be responsible for direct and indirect care given to students in
compliance with school district policies, professional standards of practice, physician’s orders, and students’ Individual Health
Plan, if applicable.
Completion of mandated SCEC professional trainings, including but not limited to Bullying Prevention, Crisis Prevention
Intervention (CPI) and Ethics.
Follows professional practices consistent with SCEC policies in working with students, students’ records, parents/guardians, and
colleagues, including maintaining the confidentiality of student and school personnel information
Performs other related duties as assigned by program administrator(s) in accordance with SCEC policies and practices.
Salary : $200
