JOB SUMMARY:
Perform environmental control system related service calls including computer programming, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Program, monitor, design and install HVAC / DCC building automation systems
Ø Confirm project requirements by reviewing shop drawings, input data and output requirements with application engineer, supervisor and customer
Ø Respond to controls related service calls
Ø Inspect and repair automation systems including HVAC and other integrated systems
Ø Learn controls programming for multiple manufacturers
Ø Apply knowledge of multiple communications protocols including BACnet and Modbus
Ø Attend site meetings as needed and provide daily reports to the Controls Project Manager
Ø Regular attendance and timeliness
Ø Perform other duties as assigned
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES:
Ø Familiar with the HVAC industry standards and codes
Ø Prior experience in the installation and maintenance of HVAC controls
Ø Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative
environment is essential
Ø Establish and maintain positive relationship with customers, vendors and co-workers through
effective oral and written communication skills via phone, computer and face to face
Ø Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR LICENSES:
Ø High school diploma or equivalent experience required
Ø Minimum 2 years in field controls programming
Ø 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry
Ø Tridium AX certification highly preferred
Ø Knowledge of AutoCAD, BACnet, DDC, Niagra AX, ALC, Siemens or Metasys
Ø Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Ø Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
