South College invites applications for the position of Radiography Full Time Faculty at the South College Orlando campus. We are searching for a team-oriented individual with excellent communication and organization skills.
Under the direction of the Chair of Imaging Sciences and Radiography Program Director, the Radiography faculty member has the responsibility and accountability for classroom instruction, student evaluation and record maintenance, and takes on responsibilities as assigned by the Program Director. Additionally, this individual will assist the Radiography Clinical Coordinator with the clinical education aspects of the program. This position facilitates the operational activities related to quality patient care and overall department function.
Primary Responsibilities
• Provide instruction for Radiography courses, student evaluation, and maintain student records.
• Assist the Clinical Coordinator with growing and developing additional clinical sites for Radiography program.
• Assist the clinical coordinate clinical activities ensuring students can achieve competencies.
• Facilitate operational activities related to quality patient care and overall department function.
• Uphold high standards of teaching, scholarship, and service.
• Assist the Clinical Coordinator in maintaining strong relationships with clinical affiliates and the community at large.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Program Director or Imaging Sciences Chair.
Requirements:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Documents two years clinical experience in the professional discipline
- Documents a minimum of one year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program.
- Baccalaureate Degree.
- Preference will be given to applicants with MRI Credentials, but it is not required for the position.
