South College Asheville Learning Site, located in Asheville, NC, is conducting a search for the position of adjunct clinical instructor for the Nursing Department. This role involves teaching on ground in clinical sites in Buncombe and surrounding counties in North Carolina. Shifts may be 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on clinical site and course needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop appropriate clinical experiences that allow all students to achieve course objectives.
• Ensure that all academic program requirements and forms of documentation are completed as required for each student and submitted per established deadlines.
• Submit accurate attendance/academic participation rosters as prescribed by the institution.
• Submit an official grade sheet at the end of each quarter for each course taught.
• Follow the course coordinator’s lead in terms of clinical skills to practice
• Be reasonably accessible to students for questions and assistance.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Two years of clinical experience in nursing
• BSN required, MSN preferred
