South College Asheville Learning Site, located in Asheville, NC, is conducting a search for the position of Radiography Program Adjunct Instructor
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure that all academic program requirements and forms of documentation (e.g., clinical evaluations, competency documentation) are completed as required for each student and submitted per established deadlines.
- Develop appropriate academic lectures, labs, and other learning experiences that allow all students to achieve course objectives. Papers and tests should be graded and returned to students in a timely manner to provide feedback to students.
- Appropriately manage all classroom and clinic activities. The faculty member is responsible for his/her class at all times and should remain with the class at all times.
- Be reasonably accessible to students for questions and assistance.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Program Director.
- The Adjunct Instructor will oversee students in the clinical setting and classroom.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Radiography; BS preferred
- ARRT credentialing in Radiography.
- Minimum 1 year experience as Registered Radiologic Technologist
