SPECIAL EDUCATION SCHOOL MONITOR FOR 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR
- (1) Temporary 9:1:3 School Monitor (end date June 30, 2025).
REPORTING TO: Building Principals
LOCATION: Colonie Central High School
HOURS: 6.5 hours per day
START DATE: ASAP
SALARY & BENEFITS: $15.69 per hour per Teamsters Contract
Job Qualifications
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Establishes good rapport with students. NYS Department of Education pre-service course (provided by district).
Good general intelligence; ability to get along well with children and command their respect; some knowledge of first aid methods; clerical aptitude; neat personal appearance; familiarity with school routines; good powers of observation; tact; courtesy; good judgment; good physical condition.
