Floor Technician
South County Rehab is looking for an energetic, results orientated team leader with superior interpersonal and communication skills.. Successful candidate must be a team player and lead by example in how to create and function in a team environment. This hands-on position will involve the following:
We are looing for Full-time and Part-time Floor Technician to join our team!. Floor Tech experience and familiarity with various cleaning products, techniques, and equipment. The duties of this job include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, stripping and waxing the floor surfaces of our Healthcare facility. You may also help clean or extract and install carpets, so carpet installation experience is a plus. In some cases, you may have to move furniture for floor access or be asked to perform other light cleaning tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Sweep and mop floors
- Assist with striping, buffing, and waxing surfaces
- Clean or shampoo carpets
- Perform light window and wall cleaning duties
- Maintain equipment and supplies
- Follow workplace safety standards
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate preferred
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience required
- Valid driver's license
- Physical stamina
- Attention to detail
