Job Summary:
The Nursing Aide at South Creek Post Acute is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to residents, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. This role requires a strong commitment to resident well-being, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the nursing staff.
- Assist in the transfer, turning, and repositioning of residents, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and common areas.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive and caring environment.
- Assist with meal preparation, serving, and feeding as necessary, following residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety procedures at all times.
- Document care provided in residents’ records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support nursing staff in implementing care plans and performing routine procedures as directed.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain knowledge and skills in line with industry standards.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Washington preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move residents and equipment.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as needed

Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
